Biden calls Trump supporters "Trash."

In an unprecedented utterance by a sitting president, Joseph Biden recently called Trump supporters "garbage." The incendiary remark came amidst the Biden-Harris administration's escalated personal attacks against Trump, even as their rhetoric accompanied two separate assassination attempts on him. Kamala Harris later refused to disavow the comments and praised Biden in a subsequent speech.

The Harris campaign has repeatedly attempted to label Trump as "Hitler" and "fascist," increasing their extreme ad hominem rhetoric after two left-wing activists attempted assassinations against Trump. One attempt included eight shots fired from a rooftop in Butler, Pennsylvania in which one bullet struck Trump in the ear.

Biden's shocking insult of approximately half of US voters is reminiscent of Hillary Clinton's 2016 remark that the same voters were "deplorables."

Later, Trump responded to Biden's insult with the statement, "You can't lead America if you don't love Americans." The next day Trump made similar statements at a rally in Wisconsin, wearing a high viz vest typically worn by garbage collectors.
